A unique space which is about escape, rejuvenation and of course - beautiful hair. The salon has been designed and curated by owner Jason Hilliar, a master stylist/colourist with over 20 years’ experience in both New Zealand and Australia. The salon is located in creative, eclectic and diverse Brunswick, a suburb in Melbourne’s inner north.
The salon environment is inspired by a ‘bach’ (pronounced batch), New Zealand’s unique take on the beach retreat. Often located by the sea, a river, lake or forest, in NZ a bach is a home away from home - a space to get away, relax and unwind.

At Mr. Hilliar, your salon experience is one-on-one - minimising unnecessary noise and interruption and maximising relaxation.
We offer a range of expert salon services, all of which start with a detailed consultation to ensure you receive the best possible experience. Your visit will be inclusive of a basin treatment, head massage, gloss, tone, plex and a cut or blow dry as standard.
